Bought from Sytner Audi Nottingham in 2016. I don’t think I’d ever been to Nottingham before buying her. Years later I married a man from Nottingham. He’s also a petrolhead, although his idea of automotive perfection is a Suzuki Katana. He knows his cars, so he’ll be the person dealing with PXI 404 from here.
I’m a lifelong petrolhead and have owned/driven Audis for years. This S4 has been driven and enjoyed, not kept as a garage ornament.
History: I paid for an independent Motorscan check. VIN matches and the report shows no theft, write-off, outstanding finance, salvage, export/import, police or taxi history.
Four previous registered keepers. I bought her when I was in the process of moving from the Republic of Ireland to Harrogate. The fourth keeper was my former partner while I was living in the Republic of Ireland; the car was always mine, but registering her in my name then would have cost me 38% of her deemed value as import tax (VRT). So, no thanks to that.
Registration: DE10 UMK which I changed to PXI 404.
Servicing: Audi Knaresborough/Harrogate initially (yikes the cost), then Kwik Fit down the road when an Audi technician moved there, and Vertu VW Lincoln for the last six years. There are 2 service booklets. I have both. I have no idea why a new one was started by Audi in Harrogate.

MOT: regular history, next due on 30 September. There is a Covid-era gap of six months which I can only put down to Covid confusion with the amnesty etc. Nothing untoward happened to the car in my possession.
Why sell? We only need one car.
She’s 16 years old, she’s covered 126k miles, and she’s not being dressed up as something she’s not. Drives like a dream, looks fantastic inside and out.
She’s a genuine, much-loved S4 Avant old school vehicle with a good history, plenty of character, knobs, switches and paddles and PXI 404 goes with her.
